Each component of Sohnaris embodies a unique aspect of martial philosophy. From the infinite awareness of Skalenda to the unifying discipline of Sato, these teachings guide practitioners toward a deeper understanding of combat, self, and the world around them.
The Spheres
Skalenda
The terrain where a confrontation takes place is potentially unlimited. The field of vision must extend beyond the adversary, the conscience must remain on the lookout for external interventions and events: spectators, rain, accidents, earthquakes, etc. There are many situations where your opponents are the least important elements in your entourage, do not give them more credit than necessary. If you seek the finality of a confrontation in victory only, you will feed only your ego.
Vodenda
Any battle can be won without taking up arms; let others gravitate around you by the strength of your charisma and your dynamism. Think tool, before weapon. When a master gives a sword to his apprentice, it is not so that he defends himself and kills: it is so that he learns. The sword is then an educational tool in the eyes of the master.
Kienda
Take care of your body. No training can make up for poor health. Food, sleep and love are healthier than hard work and repetition.
The Arcs
Raos
Once a fight begins, the outcome is already determined. It's already too late to change its course, however, it's never too late to revise your expectations. Defeats are richer in teaching only victories, for enlightened minds who are not limited to this sordid binary of victory and defeat.
Duukram
Physical laws are the same for everyone: don't ignore them. Knowing how to throw a thrust is less important than recognizing rabies in an animal.
Faehelbek
Don't let your muscles and nerves dictate your moves. Every move should be conscious and based on your informed analysis of the situation.
Zatjo
The Zatjo is the awakening of the senses. The listening and reception of new elements, the search for the subtleties which escape us and which are beyond our knowledge, our mental comfort. It is by opening up that we understand. However, this should not be seen as a way to get what we want. There is a better chance of finding what we really need, without it. be aware, only about what you thought you wanted.
Botjo
The Botjo is a form of metamorphosis, where the mind influences the body through will and imagination emulated. In some books, we talk about Lycanthropy, in some cultures it will be rather Berserkers. The Botjo sits on the boundary between the two, and is equally an effort of mind and body.
The Circle
Sato
The art of applying all the teachings simultaneously is in itself a discipline in its own right. One must always strive to bring each knowledge and each skill into close relation. Some things are not 'learn only through in-depth multidisciplinary work.
